Filter Housing

Filmedia is a leading supplier of filter housings to a wide range of industries including many where effective filtration of chemical products is critical to their operations. Where highly corrosive chemicals such as concentrated acids are being processed, specialised housings such as those manufactured with an internal coating or made from exotic alloys such as hastelloy may be considered.

Bag housing is available in both single and double lengths. The top opening style is equipped with a Vee clamp as standard for pressures up to 8.5 bar g.
These housings are widely used where low cost is of prime importance and this makes them the ideal choice to replace conventional cast stainless steel strainers. The side inlet and bottom outlet configuration is perfectly suited to duties where product changes demand a simple to clean, easy access housing.

The single common inlet / outlet connection is suited for direct mounting on to most sealed storage vessels, whilst the quick release seal-less V-clamp closure allows for rapid filter change-outs. These housings are ideal where free movement of clean air is of prime importance.

We offer a wide range of housings suitable for smaller process flows where a single filter cartridge is required. This range includes high pressure versions, housings with integral viewing sections and housings with a unique closure to ensure operation is as easy as possible.
